Here you’ll find a small sampling of the WordPress websites I have built over the past 15 years. Most of these were built as a freelancer, but I’ve indicated below when I was working with an agency. My signature style is to incorporate some kind of animation or interactivity that complements the design.
Kelvin.AI
Completed while at Lion Interactive Agency, the clients were looking for a strong visual connection for their AI products, and a new website.
I was provided a well thought out design that integrated Kelvin’s messaging and strong visual elements. My task was to build the site on WordPress, and incorporate some tasteful animations.
ShortBlox Film Festival
I was approached by the organizers of the ShortBlox Film Festival, which unfortunately no longer runs.
I worked with the designer and marketing manager to create a home page that walked the visitor through the process of submitting a film and signing up. The use of humor and personality, and animations and interactivity made this a very effective page. When the site was launched they began receiving short film submissions immediately.
The Bird & The Bear
The owners of The Bird & The Bear came to me to refresh the website for their wedding videography and photography business in Austin, Texas.
The design, performed by Chris Perryman from Revelation Concept, was very quirky and very much in line with the client’s aesthetic. Because of the fun, quirky nature of the design, I felt I could push the number of animating elements on the site. The final result, almost everything on the site animates or has some interactivity.
